  1. The EU used to be seen as the Switzerland of the world: a neutral power, ofcourse on the side of the US but never insisting on competing. Since the Ukraine war started the EU is trying to act like a hegemone, against far superior adversaries like Russia, China and BRICS. Truth is, the EU is not a hegemone. It is a servant of the US, who is about to have a new king who doesn't like the EU. Meaning the EU will be treated as a rival. The EU has no friends, no way to fight their new rival the US. The EU will go under.

  5. No, problem is the lack of cheap energy. LNG doesn't do it, it doesn't work. It needs Russian pipeline gas and Russian Uranium for nuclear energy, Germany has none of these now. Meaning there is no solution, and things will go downhill with no way of reversing it. Especially not as long as the Ukraine war hasn't been settled and sanctions on Russia lifted.
