@henkfinkers3931 No, that is how it should work. People are lazy in these good times, they accepted it. But now that the EU is truelly falling behind of the USA and BRICS+, the EU won't last long. The EU is mismanaged and hurting the prosperity of its citizens. Either the EU stops being a control freak and let member states breath, or the EU will go Kaputt.

Germany had all the cheap Russian gas for years, they didn't need to innovate. Everything ran smoothly. They are now buying Russian gas still, but from Turkey for a premium price. They can't compete anymore, because costs are too high. Had they innovated, it wouldn't had been this bad. But they didn't, and now Germany is done for.

Yes, to protect households from high energy costs. American LNG is not enough, LNG overall is not enough. Von der Leyen has destroyed the EU for Ukraine. Worst part? Ukraine is still losing. Russia can keep this war going forever. It's so bad, France wants to sent troops along with some European countries in a desperate bid to save Ukraine. It won't matter.

@OmarOsman98 Yeah? Should we go full war economy mode and ruin our quality of life? Or should we excercise restraint? Russia has no interest in Europe, but we have a great interest in Russia. I do not want to fight Russia for some politician. I want them to use diplomacy to prevent conflict. Russia has offered many such chances to do so, ever since 2014 and earlier. All those years we never took it. Shows the failure of our so-called diplomats.
