  3. Merz either doesn't get it, and will make things worse. Or he does get it, and will make things worse on purpose. Either way, Germany will not get better. Merz will never make peace with Russia, he will never remove sanctions and even after the Ukraine conflict is settled will still hate Russia, and by extension, China. The Ukraine war has broken Germany, the minds of all these political leaders are broken. The Germans should look among the immigrant class for new leaders to elect, native German politicians are all broken.
