  2. This is why you need term limits. Politicians like AOC are more concerned about pleasing DC/corporations so she can keep her job. The people who vote for her are easier to con than Lockheed Martin or Pelosi so pleasing them to keep your job is the number 1 priority.

And they leave people who are too poor to move in the disaster they made. Sri Lanka is a great example of that. It will likely be the same with people who are threatening to move over abortion bans. I know Texans would love it if Californians actually followed through and went back to CA but that will not happen. CA will continue moving to TX.

If you voted for the politicians who support the war, you are first in line for the draft lottery. People would be a lot more careful when voting, democrat and republican. A 3rd or 4th party would also have a better chance at winning.
