@117Ender Democrats want a direct democracy because they are under the delusion that the mob is on their side. They forget that gay marriage was banned by the mob (popular vote) in states like California. Its only because of the republic that the rights of a minority was protected. Issue by Issue, democrats lose the black vote.

Nothing will be done because neocon republicans like Graham and Romney want to be able to do the same things. Progressives and liberals who think they are winning will regret giving them this kind of power.

The only "group" that wanted to vote for Hillary was upper middle class/rich boomer white women. Not all older middle class women but that was her main group of supporters. Women who were still living in 1992. The rest would have voted for a glass of water with a D by its name.

The biggest problem for republican voters is that many republicans also knew. It was republicans who started the investigation into Trump based on no evidence. Even when someone like Shiff is a proven liar, you will not see one democrat side with republicans. But when its the other way around you get republicans like Thomas Massie who protect democrats from any accountability.
