  1. Yup. This is why term limits are needed. If these people only had 4 or maybe 8 years at most, they may actually do what they run on. AOC knows her voters are easy to con, but Lockheed Martin is not, so if you want a lifetime appointment, you have to make DC/corporations happy

  3. We need term limits or more informed voters. I doubt the latter will happen so we need the former. You need two things to keep your lifetime appointment, votes and corporate/DC backing. Corporations/DC hold politicians accountable by holding back money. The voters can be feared or conned into giving up their vote.
