Thats why I don't understand progressives who only want the cops to have gns. And they want the cops to disarm the people by any means necessary. I say disarm the cops first and see how it goes.

A cop out of uniform in Denver knocked out a guys teeth by slamming his head into the ground. The victim was charged with assaulting a cop. The cop lied in court, the victim was going to get 7 years, A video came out showing the cop lied. The victim didn't go to jail but nothing happened to the cop who assaulted someone and then lied to send them to jail

@CharlieBrown This is why democrat voters generally hate cops more than republican voters. Democrats vote for police state laws like stop and frisk and red flag laws and then get upset when the police state targets them but they never connect the authoritarian politicians with the police. The most criminal PDs are usually democrat ran, Chicago, DC, LA, SF, Austin, Denver ... Dems are great at separating themselves from the enforcers they programmed.

@billtmarchi4320 If the police in your county are corrupt you may want to think of voting for other people or you will keep getting a police state if you keep voting for the people who run that PD

@billtmarchi4320 We have seen it done. NYC was a total disaster and the cops were very corrupt they made a bunch of movies about it like Serpico. Rich liberals moved, Rudy won, and the PD was cleaned up. It wasn't perfect but it was a huge improvement from democrats running the OD. Dems took oerr again and the police are now becoming totally criminal in NYC.
