  1. My worry is the majority of voters still support her progressive policy. If she leaves, you may get someone further to the left as seen in Chicagos Mayor election.

  6. Nothing improves until the voters decide they don't like how NY is being ran. Even if Hochul were to step down, I would bet NY would elect someone "more progressive". NY next Governor may be an out in the open Marxist.
