  1. Its possible but what I think will happen is she will lose but the next mayor will be the same. Look at the mayors in Baltimore there was something like 4 Mayors in a row who resigned over corruption charges.

  2. This is why you need checks and balances. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. Cook County is 80% democrat and Illinois has a democrat governor so there are few checks on democrats in Illinois.

  4. Cook county Illinois is 80% democrat. Who would investigate her another democrat? Shes just a reflection of the voters. Even if they recall her the same people would be voting and elect someone similar. Look at Baltimore, they had something like 4 Mayors in a row who ended up resigning over corruption charges.
