@kryptonianog9418 Or "Demolition Man" where all restaurants are Taco Bell. Large chains may be able to keep prices low just long enough to destroy small restaurant competition and then eventually raise their prices.

@Tron8086 There are a lot of reasons prices go up and raising labor costs is one reason. Look what happened in Venezuela. Their awful "progressive" policies raised costs so to fix it they raised the min wage and costs went up more. To fix it they raises the min wage 3 more times in a couple years until you needed a suitcase of cash to get a hotel room. It was the middle class and skilled workers who were rioting in Venezuela because their purchasing power was destroyed in the name of helping the poor. The poor were still poor, they just got more company.

@scifirealism5943 Cant tell if this is sarcasm? The workers live in the same world. They are also paying more for everything. They still have the same purchasing power. The only ones getting affected are the middle class who lose purchasing power. The rich don't care as much because when costs go up, they get richer. Thats why every "progressive" ran country is full of the very poor and the extremely rich. There is no middle.
