  1. Its propaganda from the 1930s invented by Edward Bernays. Bernays turned smoking into a womans right to get more women to smoke and it worked. The same is done today, they can sell anything to women (not all) by calling it a right.

  2. Its not really new. This style of propaganda goes back to the 1930s. Edward Bernays got women to start smoking by connecting smoking to womens liberation. Decades later people realized it was not healthy after they got health problems from smoking. Obesity is being sold to these women as some kind of civil rights struggle.
