  1. They want to role play civil rights hero when others already sacrificed to end it and now its safe and profitable. Its like going to the beaches of Normandy in 2024 and declaring Hitler is bad and you see yourself as a hero. Slavery still exists, Obama and Hillary brought slave markets to Libya but you will not see any of these rich liberals going to Libya to protest African slave markets.
