  50. Progressives only think in the moment. They think they will improve lives by making business pay people more. All they do is make costs go up. So the poor have more paper in their pocket but the same purchasing power. The middle class loses purchasing power. The rich stay rich as their money is in things like property and businesses. When costs go up the next policy they suggest is price controls. When that happens, business start to shut down because they can no longer afford to stay in business. Then you have no jobs and eventually starvation, black outs, freezing.
