  1. Its called the Bradley effect. The Bradley effect posits that the inaccurate polls are skewed by the phenomenon of social desirability bias. The media continues to create the idea that Biden is the socially acceptable candidate. I would be interested to see the breakdown between the sexes. I would bet most of that 34% is women because women are more likely to feel the pressure to conform with what they see as socially acceptable.

  2. I could say one thing. If you have ever looked into building a home solar power system, you will notice that the costs have come way down. A few years ago a good lithium battery would cost $800 to $900. Now you can get a good battery for $240, the panels are cheaper, the charge controllers are cheaper. I am not a fan of Biden. I would gladly take 800$ batteries over the cost of everything else going up.

The media continues to push the idea that Biden is the candidate you vote for if you are a good person. I'm sure there are people when talking to pollsters who feel social pressure to say Biden.

Also women are more likely to feel the need to conform to societal norms so I would bet its a lot of women claiming they support Biden because media has created the idea that Biden is the socially acceptable candidate. But behind closed doors, most of that 34% probably don't like Biden.

  5. I would bet its a lot of women who think supporting Biden is still the socially acceptable opinion. When behind closed doors with no feeling of social pressure its probably around 15% approval.

  7. Progressives only think in the moment. They think they will improve lives by making business pay people more. All they do is make costs go up. So the poor have more paper in their pocket but the same purchasing power. The middle class loses purchasing power. The rich stay rich as their money is in things like property and businesses. When costs go up the next policy they suggest is price controls. When that happens, business start to shut down because they can no longer afford to stay in business. Then you have no jobs and eventually starvation, black outs, freezing.
