  2. Chicago has been democrat ran for almost 100 years. I don't think republicans bother running in Chicago because its a waste of funds.

  3. It looks like the last time a republican even bothered to run for Mayor in Chicago was in 1983. Perhaps republicans should try again but they probably see it as a waste of funds because too many people will blindly vote democrat. When Johnson got elected he was running against another democrat who was also pro open borders.
