  1. Because democrats know how to play the game. They don't bother trying to please people who don't vote for them. They protect and represent their most loyal voters no matter how crazy or destructive. I wish republicans stood by their normal voters as much as democrats stand with their fringe lunatics. DeSantis is one of the few who represents his voters and doesn't try to please democrats/media.
