I've heard boomers tell stories so its always been dangerous but it got worse after the Obama admin. Read the article from the NYPOST titled "Obama’s lax discipline policies made schools dangerous". I think most schools still follow those "guidelines".

@davidbaker1918 . What does it matter if hes not been in office if schools are still following the guidelines? That would be like saying FDR was not responsible for social security because hes not in office. Bad or good policy continues to be bad or good even after the person responsible is out of office.

@jonhenry8268 They get some state funding but they also get fed funding. The president can cut off a lot of that money if you don't follow whatever guidelines.

I've seen some crazy white girl fights but its usually a lot of hair pulling so I don't know but if you are correct that would explain why there was no punishment.

@adspur You joke but the Biden DOJ actually has a special unit called CRS aka "community relations services". And they encourage families to say certain things if its a certain type of crime.

@davidbaker1918 Read the NYTimes article. The Obama admin threatened to cut off any funding of schools that did not follow the guidelines. After Obama left some schools probably dropped the guidelines when the threat of defunding was no longer there.
