  1. Whats the thinking behind this claim? The reason the petrodollar exists is because Nixon went to oil rich countries and said the US would be their personal security force but only if the would limit oil sales with the US dollar. Anytime a country like Iraq attempted to take other currencies for oil, the leader of that country was thrown out by the US military. I think the reason they are dropping the dollar is because they know Biden is either compromised or incompetent and if they ever want to challenge US dominance now is the time.
