Most police hatred happens in democrat ran counties. In blue counties the cops are enforcing a lot of fascist police state laws created by democrats. Cops are not hated in red counties because as you say they are mostly putting dangerous violent criminals away and protecting private property. I would not want to live in a fascist police state ran by democrats either but people complain about it and keep voting for the same things.

@michaelhill8441 Fake news. I don't know what this has to do with blue counties complaining about how crooked their cops are but they continue to vote for the people who run the police departments. NYPD prior to Rudy was very crooked. They made movies about it like Serpico. Rudy cleaned up the NYPD and they became very well respected around the world and there was record low crime. Progressives take back over under Deblasio and the cops are going back to being the same way they were pre 80s.

@michaelhill8441 False, they have plenty of money. Also as I said a large portion of that money is going to farmers. Corn subsidies and all that. You can argue its a bad policy but it has nothing to do with people in blue counties who vote for things they claim to hate.

Democrats don't understand that every law is enforced at level 10. There is no level 1 enforced law. If its illegal to have long grass and you resist arrest for having long grass you could end up dead. If you comply after doing very bad things you will go in alive. Before creating a law you have to ask yourself is this thing worth someone dying over, getting injured, or going to jail. Voters need to realize if they vote for democrats who promise more laws you will get more police involvement in your life.
