  1. You would think so but look at states like California. Democrats have raised living costs and increased homelessness in CA for over a decade and they still win elections. It probably is in the 30s but all the support is coming from a handful of highly populated cities. As they say there are no blue states, only blue cities.

  6.  @Teri_B.  I believe they are elected and ill tell you why. The idiots who vote for them always move and they keep voting for the same people in their new state and they turn more states blue. That's how dumb they are. Instead of no longer voting for the same bad policies they move and keep voting for the same bad policies. If it was rigged I don't think you would see TX turning blue from CA voters moving.
