Leftism is a faith. They have a belief in authoritarian policies and they always have an excuse as to why voting for the same things will work different this time. Its never a policy failure its always the implementation that failed. Its why they want censorship because they are concerned their numbers will dwindle if people are exposed to different ideas.

@alexv6620 One policy? As in one progressive policy that made lives worse but progressives keep voting for it after they move away from that policy? So called green policies is one policy. Green policies are strictly a rich person policy. Everyone can't afford a 40% increase in living costs. So called green policies do nothing but raise the costs of energy so the majority of people can't afford to use energy. Crime and or cost of living is usually why people are forced to move. Progressive policies increase crime and the cost of living. I saw a college student in SF complaining that a cop gave him a $90 ticket for eating on the boardwalk but chances are that college kid voted for or supports the politicians who created that law. The reason Progressives do not like cops is because they vote for politcians who campaign on creating bigger government. Bigger government will always create a police state. Conservatives vote for less government so police have less power in red counties.

And republican voters who live in red counties in blue states do not move because its not so bad in red counties. So only the lefties move to red states. CA will never come back so it would be best for the millions of republicans in blue states to move and fortify red states like TX or FL or move to purple states like CO and turn it back to red.

@donaldgoodnight7853 Yes, the majority of voters are uninformed or ill-informed so the more people voting helps the left win elections. Its why dems want foreigners and 15 year olds voting because they are not aware of how terrible democrat rule is for the average person. Its why dems want censorship to keep more people ignorant. NYC is a great example. It was terrible under decades of democrat rule. Rich liberals moved fleeing the policies they voted for and it gave Rudy the opportunity to win an election and he made NYC the safest biggest city in the world with a great economy and low homelessness. Dems take back NYC and now its turning back into a disaster. It will not come back this time because dems are replacing their fleeing voters with foreign voters.

Cops are quitting in blue counties. Dems are teaching cops what laws are ok to enforce. You can hand out a 500 fine for opening your small business but if you enforce laws protecting private property you could end up in jail. Dems do not hate cops, they need a large police state to enforce all their authoritarian policies. Its why the left hates cops while the right does not. Progressives vote for authoritarians and then get upset when the cops enforce authoritarian policies. The right votes for less government so they are more likely to have a 50/50 mix of negative and positive interactions with cops.

Red counties in blue states are not as awful as the rest of the state. Its why more lefties flee blue states while people in red counties in blue states do not move.
