  1.  @In_Orbit  False, Israel could wipe out the entire area anytime they want to. Instead Israel goes through the trouble of building defensive tools like the iron dome. If hamas had the weapons that Israel has, hamas would use them in a second with no regard to anyone including their own people.

  2.  @thatguyfawkes2328  They already did that a few times like the Six Day War when Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, and many others attacked Israel. Yom Kippur was another collection of Arab states that attacked Israel.

  3. I'm against US involvement but Israel clearly must respond. It would be like punching someone in the face and then you yell for a timeout.
