  10. Most of these people go through multiple "safe" countries before crossing the US border. If this was a refugee thing they could stay in any of those countries. They are searching for places that offer the most free stuff. NYC says they guarntee housing to anyone who can make it to NYC. Chicago is also handing out "free" rent and a few thousand dollars in "free" furniture.

  12. Not in NJ. NJ is a "duty to retreat state". If someone breaks into your home, you have to try and run away. If you defend yourself, you will be charged with homicide, and have to prove you could not run away.

Some rich dude buys up all the land and does nothing with it while people are looking for land to build. These current people are clearly taking advantage and using it for reasons it was not created.

  22. From what I read the law was created long ago to encourage land owners to be productive with the land they own. They didn't want someone buying a lot of land in a place where there is demand for land and just let it sit there.

  24. I would bet if the homeowner tried to fix it, the city would be out there in a couple days to undo it. The city can suddenly put the resources together to undo "unofficial repairs" but cant do the same for a repair.

So when you want more laws you have to deal with the fact that someone could be killed or injured while that law is being enforced. I think this is why you see most of the protesting of cops in democrat counties because democrats create more laws which gives cops more excuses to harass you.

  45. One reason its being done is because they want to lower the wages of working people. They sent jobs overseas for slave/cheap labor but some jobs can't be exported so they are flooding the country with large amounts of labor so their is more competition and they can pay workers less money.

When Trump was president he had ICE raiding business like Koch. Almost every Mississippi chicken plant was hiring illegals and paying them slave wages. After the raids, Koch had to hire Americans and pay them $20. Neocons and democrats say "Americans won't do these jobs" the truth is they won't do those jobs for slave wages.
