  1. My aunt lived in NYC back in the 70s and 80s, she said it was a similar disaster and she would never go out when it got dark. But Rudy Giuliani won and fixed NYC. She said cops where everywhere and you could go at 3 am if you wanted. Sadly it seems like you will never see another Rudy Giuliani win an election in NYC. NYC will be the next Detroit.

  2. Progressives don't believe in private property...unless its their property. They see the shop owner as the criminal creating a monetary barrier to goods.

  3.  @angelasoWA  Its also probably a lot of old people who still do that type of shopping. Anytime my parents can't get something in the store they ask me to order it online.

  5. Its a very small minority. The problem is the people keep voting for these progressives. NYC was a similar disaster when progressives ran it in the 70s and 80s. The demographics in NYC stayed the same under Rudy Giuliani but he locked people up who were doing the crimes. The answer is so easy, the hard part is getting people to understand their vote is the source of the problems.
