  6. People have a James Bond villain view of evil. They think everyone in history who was evil knew they were the bad guy. The most evil in history were always 100% sure they were the good guy. I would bet Hostins ancestors did not see themselves as the bad guy, they probably had the same holier than thou attitude. The old Marvel movies portrayed it well with Thanos. Thanos was convinced he was the good guy saving the universe from over population.
