  1. These are rich kids mostly studying in USA. And the entrance exam in China is much harder than USA schools so it's much harder to get in. I have a friend in China doing her BA degree and they have to do a thesis already. But I was asking why she studied what she studied... she couldn't answer me because it hit her hard. She was studying it to gain status not because she liked it....and she's trying to do a masters later on. In Japan. With this trade war tension...I dont know. Gl to her...I'm trying to do my masters too. Hopefully the universities will not be conducting racism on me being an ABC due to this war....sigh.

  4. @you457wx you are right brain washed. I want to hear from other middle middle class if we increase property tax and remove income tax at the same time will they go for it. I dont wanna hear from those with millions in property. I want to hear from the regular middle class. Property taxes are one of the taxes where the rich cannot avoid without special subsidies from government. While income tax is easily avoided by the rich and poorest they pay almost no tax. We all know this. The richest accounting for 70-80% of taxes is because they own 90% of the wealth. As a % of wealth they are already paying too little. I want to know the top 1% or 0.1% We know the upper middle class was intentionally included because they do not use loopholes as much as the top 1%. I read elsewhere that it is 26-30% of total tax paid. But when top 1% had more than that I find it hard to feel sympathy. They are still consuming more than they put in. Eg police firemen and military to defend their property and interests.

If he doesnt do that the middle class and poor will forever be slaves Property tax is because that is the only tax that can hit the elites. Everything else is a sham.. But liberals are idiots

  6. @you457wx i would argue against this excuse me if property prices increases. Who is gunna pay for said property the wealthy? They can pay the property tax then. In all honesty there is a limited supply of real wealth. So limited amounts of wealthy people That is why vacancy tax. If wealthy people buy property without using or renting it out even. They will get hit much higher than regular property tax. Canada has done this but their enforcement sucks due to them being clueless. Now tell me who's going to buy said property from poor person? Oh middle class that has a job ok good that means said poor person moves away and buys another area that has same amenities for same or cheaper. Code enforcement?...oh really. That means I seeing ghettos left and right in California are just my eyes playing tricks? Also tent cities in down town la. Or is it state specific where they choose to have ghettos. Codes sorry they are laughable. Only when they want to force those out that is then they use codes. Like J walking selective enforcement. What you are talking about is entirely different from property tax it is in fact regulations not tax. In fact it goes on to point out further why property tax is in fact the better form of taxation than income tax. Far better. The problems you cited is in fact the government forcing out poor communities not the price of the house itself nor the property tax. If it is infrastructure that increases your value then you've paid for it in property tax. It's fine you dont want it then vote against it. Else move. You cant afford to benefit from said infrastructure. Your argument is invalid then. Also licensed contractor? Nope will do it myself if I cant afford one. Gov can go deal with it. This is why states like Texas are far better than states like California. Only property tax and sales tax not income tax. Also no income tax means that people have more money to pay property tax. But since rich people pay no income tax it doesnt help them. But they do pay property tax. As a result you are advocating for the tich and trying to convince middle class that it hurts them to repeal income tax and in place just have property tax. A nice argument by the elites against dumb people.

  7. @you457wx code regulations just means the elites have set it up to steal meaning property taxis even more important to be levied to the rich. Codes and penalties are just a tool to keep things expensive. As a result I'd say to everyone to ignore it. Then fight in supreme court. Class action against state and when lost highly publicize it and leave said state. Embarrass the fk out of the state in question and stage protests to the politicians in power.
