  1. why is microsoft buying linux based products anyway? microsoft have their own version control WTF. weird.... seems like microsoft wants more control of the industry... I don't trust them buying github. ok - time to leave github programmers and have another repository... programmers want freedom from large companies to develop right? ok look the APPEAL of github was because it is open source and you can develop almost anything with it. NOW that a major corporate entity has a hold of it. IT IS GOING TO BE less desirable EXCEPT more of the same. anyone that develops code should probably fork github itself and make a new repository. DECENTRALIZATION NOT CENTRALIZATION is desired....

  3. i doubt it. microsoft itself has their own repository software. THEY NEVER needed the capabilities of github. but saw github as a COMPETITOR. and opensource is a threat to them as well. LINUX itself is gaining more traction chipping a little at their os marketshare. C++ vs C#. yeah well. We have good reason to be suspicious of microsoft.
