NIMBY landlords lobbying their local gov stopping construction is one of the main reasons for unaffordable rents and property values. landlords laugh their way to the bank and congressmen as well. while everyone gets lower supply and lower wealth creation so these fker landlords can have their cake and eat it too.

@NZH00 then that work has to provide enough for rent else that work isn't worth the rent paid. remember limit 3x income for property value and 1/3 income for rent rule. anything more is EXPENSIVE and unaffordable

@jackgreen5627 .....just because others starve. donations do not help. reason is simple it is not a matter of donations. it is a matter of reaching these starving children? when you give most of the money goes to administration. I do not trust charity at all and will only donate minimally as a result unless I am there administering it myself. Lots of the charity workers work there full time as a result pay themselves a huge sum themselves. Then there is also the problem of government. when you donate to government there it is their government killing their own citizens. the only way to save the citizens is by taking them all away from their homeland. except can we do that? immigration laws and what of jobs? will you give them all jobs? you can only help those that wanna be helped you cant save someone that don't wanna be saved trust me i tried earlier on too and it failed. all they want is money not a change of life that will change for the better. they just want money to continue their degenerative way of life. do you give a drug addict more money to buy more drugs? As a donation? yeah same thing. you need to help them constructively. their government itself is the problem. let them live their lives then since they choose to live as such. Ebola crisis that went almost global. and their rejection of our vaccines and treatment. It cost us millions and billions and almost became a global outbreak. Fukushima Japan denying it still. these are all major events that still need fixing. Starving children can easily be fixed if they change their corrupt government as that itself is the problem. @chrischamberlain7628 then if the property tax is too much it is passed to rent anyway turning to income tax in a way same thing. Remember property tax was always the way they paid for gov. Idc if you retired. Everyone else paying to increase infrastructure to pay for your property values increasing. Don't like it then move like they say and you say. Fact is prop tax is the fairest tax for all parties.

I am complaining about income tax which taxes you on your job your question should be why don't I quit instead? notice people quitting instead of working jobs :P oops. reasons why no one wants to work beyond a certain amount = property owners shifting tax to income tax earners. stop enslaving the productive thanks. we quit and get other jobs as a result notice labor shortage.
