If only dealers didn't do dealer markups I would have got a rav4 prime.

Turbos don't last as long

Automakers report most purchases ever? Ok they can sit on lots forever.

Lifepo4 batteries please
4
I would too if they gave me a ev for 10k vs a regular car id take that one since everyone got no money
4
Yeah we can't afford it anymore. Go away

@kenyajohnson3171 IKR I want it tbh. if we could get tax credits like the ev side for 7500 I'll jump all over it I have a 3 yr old mazda at 80k miles brah. I drive alot the fuel economy matters to me but only by a few thousand dollars. its not time yet to buy an expensive car though. it needs to be around 20k-25k. more than that and I'm out of the market for a new one. I'll buy a used one later on instead for 10-15k maybe 20-30k miles. actually I like mazda more than toyota right now because mazda innovates more than honda and toyota right now. well the other 2 are trying hydrogen so shrug. I'm waiting patiently for this engine though. combine it with a small battery for plug ins and charging or even a small solar panel on a sun roof top to help charge it could help give like 10-20 miles a day then just standing by. shouldn't cost more than 1000-2000 dollars extra on the car though if it's more than that not worth it. payback period would be too long. 7.5 years calculated at 2000 dollars for solar charger for extra 20 miles per day. Needs to be bang per buck value efficient. so at 25k mazda skyactive the payback period for utility would be about 10 yrs tbh for the extra gas savings in the states. in others 300000 miles /55 = 5454 x 2.5 gas = 13635 in gas paid 300000 miles/30 = 10000 x 2.5 gas = 25000 gas paid. note I already drove 80k in 3 yrs in 10 yrs I'll be at 300k. savings of about 12000. 10 yrs per car is about right. my car is worth about 10k right now. I'll buy a used one later on for 15k instead if its like 30k miles or less. 12k if it's like 50k miles.

they all should have did hybrids and phev intsead while pricing them very close to gas cars. them selling and making msrp so high made it so bad. now they are copying toyota. dumb. while they do phev they get their battery plants up. like duh? also lifepo4 batteries only them using lithium ion is crap
2
Considering Toyota overpricing their vehicles for the same thing going with Mazda is the smarter thing if you are not reselling
2
As long as they make ev batteries unable to be hot swappable the answer is no to all ev. Since I cannot work on them
1
I just bought a cx5 a few yrs ago Ill likely get a cx90 phev if they discount it decently. I only want to pay 40-45k new all in cost but it's costs 54k. Minus tax incentive. Otherwise not worth it. Only do it then with used. Maybe 30k or less
1
Phev but no full ev
1
Also the engine issue. I most likely draining the battery when they commit to a stop and then when you jump start it. The battery can't jump starter because it doesn't have enough power because the engine was off so it wasn't charging the battery
1
Need cheap plugin hybrid version. If they can make a version that is 8 kwhr first for 25 miles then expandable to 100+ miles. Easy to replace modules. About 2500 each module lifepo4 then would be good. Toyota etc EV companies and Tesla making it hard to replace tell them to fuk themselves. Tell them all to fuk themselves
1
why are tesla so unreliable???
1
Also batteries lifepo4 batteries there is no excuse to use anything else
1
@veganpotterthevegan yeah they can sell it for profit and idiots that buy it go bankrupt along with all the over priced housing and rent. they need a place to put all this junk first before buying this over priced junk. else no they only need 1 vehicle for work if work doesn't pay enough to justify the car/vehicle then no sale at all. luxuries need to be cut off completely until then. at least those with a brain will not buy this shit.
1
Then they can all go bankrupt
1
come on mazda unlike a regular Americans I am a smart American efficiency matters to me. I've been waiting :( oh well I'll drive my mazda 3 for another 3-5 years until prices come down. ALSO I will not pay more than 25k for it. with discounts I'll buy one. maybe a used one. :P
1
fk make more rav 4 primes damn it. if you make it then i wont need to switch to tesla. I want to go on road trips i have no reason to upgrade if you wont do this stop slacking toyota
1
Tell us when they use them because they still ain't using them in phev and especially reg ev else they be advertising them these Manu are such idiots cause greedy if they can only do lithium ion they will choke on even more inv
1
Need to import byd fuk Ford gm etc that produce low quality and demand high prices at least toyota has quality. Somewhat but hell no I'm not paying 3x the cost. Fuk our corp that don't give a shit about Americans anyway
1
Lower price and tax credit of sorts yes then otherwise he'll no both too expensuve
1
I'll just fix my own car instead fuk American companies price gouging
1
cx70 phev with LIFEPO4 batteries they need to realize lifepo4 are better than lithium ion until then I'm not going to buy any battery car or phev
1
Just import it. F*** Chris buy from them and then import it. No way I'm paying 40,000 plus with the import tax and also the local EVS are overpriced. Hell no I'm not paying for that
1
6% wtf hell no not paying that tax.

so their patent is what I wanted in a car that goes from regular to camper mode. plus needs to be phev at least with indoor plus and solar charging. basically also make the seats turn into beds is perfect otherwise we need to take out back seats and put in custom seats. these mofos still wont do it though. they need to capitalize on van life movement to protest the rent is too damn high movement protesting the property values are too damn high movement damn them patent the tech so I cant make my own. bitches. extending mechanism isn't hard even just do it already fukers. plus ford patent the seat bed tech for themselves as well fuk patents. someone needs to make this shit open source and let us buy the seats to replace them. the body is going to be harder unless get a body kit and hack a engine in there. All they need to do. and also extend mode maybe for loading up extra cargo if you have temporarily and then go smaller afterwards beside using it for van life of course. that way it shortens itself and makes itself more aerodynamic and when you need it turn on camper mode. where you can control how big you want it. of course we want it to be stealthy. also the AC should be at the top not just the front their ac designs fuk suck rn all car makers.
1
driving a mazda 3 hatchback rn. I would like the phev mazdas hopefully with tax credits otherwise ill have to wait. without tax credits I'm only willing to pay 30-35k max. with tax credits at most rav4 prime prices. but even then toyota was ripping costumers off due to batteries costing 3k not 10k to make based on tesla battery costs. toyota was smart and accounted for 7500 tax credit.
1
They better be all l I f e p 04 batteries
