  2. its actually zoning laws hurting renters and property buyers. reason is because it limits supply. rent control? doesn't matter that much. the real problem is builders wont build small homes cheap. reason is simple. china already can make 3d printed cement houses for 5k or less the real cost would then be other costs besides building. cost to build is very small. so in USA it would be probably 10k or so. including moving/towing costs 30k trucking the house costs a whole lot in the USA. utilities, plumbing etc would be the reason for cost- lets add another 10k and main cost would be foundation,tax regulation etc.- another 20k total cost for cement houses 60k tiny houses can also be built by yourself for less than 5k and 10k for those that ask others to help make it. so because zoning laws hurt buyers and renters  container houses wouldn't cost much either 20-30k for moving and fabricating one. again the problem is the foundation + the tax regulations. RV homes as well. but then many complain about them because the residents want to keep prices high for some reason. IMO the residents do not even know common sense. higher prices = higher taxes. higher prices = only benefits sellers, banks and government. lower prices = benefit owner/buyer, because of lower taxes and fees. the utilities are just standard if you don't want them you dont need them. the zoning laws are the true problem though. you cannot build cheap housing on them else you will be fined in most states. they would mostly only allow 100k+ housing for taxation reasons else you will be denied. commercial real estate is also increasingly a problem as so many are vacant but they would not rent them out cheaper. a result they remain empty to keep prices high. the empty buildings make it a shady area and dangerous for everyone involved. criminals and fire hazards ensue in empty buildings increasing the cost. either way government and speculators/banks benefits from high property values for taxation/rents not buyers or dwellers. that's why they tried so hard to keep values up. if people were allowed to build tiny, 3d printed housing, container houses, in any area they so choose then increasing supply tremendously. afterwards repealing the housing rent control wouldn't be such an issue. I already thought of a few blueprints that may work for these ideas but of course no money/connections = cant do much, thus I'll have to pass it on to those with better connections posting the ideas for others to hopefully use for the better because it probably wont make much money if it serves the people. but it just so happens most do not want to make cheap housing the, main reason for higher costs intentionally is to drive poor people out such that the more wealthy can move in and then more taxes and less crime so the thinking goes. because there is a prejudice/notion that higher income = less crime. somewhat true many times but sometimes false as well. anyway good day

  6. Actually I'm in my 30s going to school and people think I'm in my 20s because I have good genes. You could say I'm healthier than many 20 year olds especially since they do drugs these days and trash their bodies. Telomere length and thus how healthy one is, is far more important as far as age goes. I've started realizing age dont mean shit. Love and pedophilia perception for 30s dating 20s dont matter either. I should have gotten over that stupid ideal so I missed many love opportunities because I cared too much what society thought was the correct age

  9. Only way forward is to repeal income tax in its entirety. And put in place property tax. Property tax is the only tax that you cant use loop holes and run from unless government intentionally gave subsidies to the rich. Then repeal it.

  10. I'd favor abolishing income tax and instead replacing it with sales and property tax. with basic living expenses rebated per year based on cost of living. Since IRS is here to stay we can't avoid it. First to get rid of the most unfair tax of them all Income tax: taxation on labor(a good thing why tax?) is dumb Property tax: mostly just the rich have this buying more property you do not need is wasteful. you better be using said property to produce something or need it then otherwise you are consuming needless resources. Tax exemption: based on how many people are living or using said property. less people using = more taxation IF it is a ghost town said property is forfeit and auctioned off to highest bidder. use it or lose it. Sales tax: no tax on groceries/food flat tax: on everything else. depends on needs of government. luxury goods: tax more. taxation to encourage or discourage certain products. eg: cigs, expensive luxury cars instead of taking mass transit - eg in place of pollution tax reason they are already doing so shift it to sales + property first. Income tax didn't even exist before the federal reserve. this is the worst tax of them all. later on shift it to mainly property tax and almost 0 sales tax on general goods if possible. If the RICH want any property in the USA then they will have to pay up. else move and crash the rent and property so poor people can live there now they can afford rent and house purchases. I call it utilitarian taxation. It's still complicated but it's because the infrastruture has already been put in place. It's easier to transition to this first get rid of income tax then other taxes later. Off topic: the reason why poor cannot afford anything is high RENT not just low wages. that is the highest cost in their expense pool and makes other goods and services unaffordable. CRASH the real estate market so people can live. let them default they shouldn't have borrowed money in the first place. HIGH property tax WILL discourage a few people from buying up all the property instead it will be more spread out. if corporation buys houses then, their tax rate is Still determined by if it is empty. If it is they will be hit. Not corporate tax but they will be hit as normal property tax 1 person. They better get moving renting them out then. After rent is medical - only way to solve it is to have more doctors, PA and nurses. No way around it. Produce more lower costs of medical school. have population eat healthier meaning real food, NOT processed food.

  11. Min wage? Historically rent = 1/3 income income = 3x property value. anything less than that is not a job it is slavery. just say no. Stay home and raise kids cheaper. The rent is the reason owners cannot survive. landlords and high property prices over the ratio of rent: income is the problem. The reason why prop values so high? regulations against building cheap housing. Make building permits cheap affordable. And too much money made for speculators restricting the supply. crash the property values. gg.

I think walmart may as well automate these useless jobs. we really don't need those workers stocking shelves... amazon does it just fine. pay the one controlling everything 20-30 dollars an hour to control everything... 3-4 people to keep it open 24/7 stocking shelves. 1/2 people troubleshooting the scanners and in person maintenance of them.

IF THEY WERE SMART at all. there is no set value it is a RATIO wage value doesn't matter ratio to living matters min wage should = 1/3 of average rent or 1/3 of property value per year for full time work. there is no set rate. stupid. then from there they can pay people more or less. if they are still losing money because you are unproductive : you fired if property values are too high then the property values need to drop... fact property prices are too high for no reason except cheap money. for that girl: she said waitress makes 2 dollars abolish tipping in restaurants like in japan/china no tipping allowed. business owners take the tips anyway so it's not for them. 8 dollars doesn't pay for rent at all. 17k per year 40 hrs. they better have 500 dollar or less housing else price of rent is too high. let them automate mcdonald workers to spur more programmers and engineers. we don't need those crappy jobs at all.

  25. that and NYC as well I'm from nyc. 1/3 of rent... unless you win the lottery...housing lottery you need to pay min 2000+ for a studio. and 1000+ to share a bedroom... so they need to make a bare min of 36000 per year for that 1 bedroom and 72000 per year for that 1 studio apartment... BTW starting salary average for new college grad CS programmer is about 70k in NYC IF you get a job. that's if you get a job. Most will try to lowball and ask you for internship for free or little to low pay and fire you after intern is up Google, microsoft, amazon,fb offers A PAID internship. these other companies just trick the college student and waste their time until they lose their opp to find real interships. this is warning to college students to not intern for free if you are skilled at all don't help companies that do this. that's why most of this channel is clueless and just ranting on those college kids without knowing their situation. I'm more independent rather than left or right... each state has their own problems rent problems, col problems it's not one size fits all. if they lived there they would understand - they have to still rent in that place after all thats why 1/3 of rent is the most precise measurement.

  26. Property tax > sales tax > income tax. We know rich pay no income tax. Get real people. Stop falling for the trap. Read rich pay almost no income tax. Now property tax = rich consumes infrastructure. That should get paid for with property taxes then not income tax. Infrastructure disproportionately helps the rich more. Remember police responds to rich far more than the poor. As a result they should pay more. If it is pay per performance. And why shouldn't they then. This is the only way forward with tax debates. income tax all states need to remove it. Right now. Texas has it right.

  33. FYI income taxes? its because they have their money offshore in fake corporations to dodge taxes. NOT because the taxes are not high enough. they have loopholes because they bought out favors. increasing taxation will do nothing if the loopholes remain. the higher taxation also encourage more loopholes to be bought. if you want to tax them you have to tax where they cannot use loopholes or buy favors. almost impossible. sales/property tax will likely be the best bet. Income tax? NOPE. worse tax possible to use on the rich. abolish income tax perhaps increase corporate tax if need be corporations then need to earn money from the non-taxed citizens. also income tax from every citizen is more paperwork than from every corporation
