  1.  @rafaelmariscal9170  property tax keeps the housing market in texas in check to keep people that bid up property from buying too much they cannot afford or need and no income tax. IMO Texas has the best policy in place in regards to this as for CA opposite and you see what happens. abuse after abuse of productive people. If you want to work texas is better.
