  4. As a result makes no sense to ever buy in those markets even renting from those areas is questionable. Unless wages go up those cities should in fact go the way of Detroit and walk away. Let them have it. I propose increasing prop taxes especially vacancy taxes ideal taxes are land value taxes but remove income taxes nationally and ban it. Sorry landlords get wrecked if people remain in any area they need to do this.
