  2. its land value tax not just any property tax. so if land in region itself is taxed by a huge amount that isn't being used then you would use it because time is money. make more houses and rent them out to recoup the investment in the land nub. your arguments are nub.

  3. a few things the protesters in hong kong were actually much more well behaved than the OWS protesters in NYC. so as a result there is more compassion for them imo. come on they recycled their garbage. and cleaned up after themselves. there here no drug use either and much less public destruction the police really cannot complain much about it except that it  is an on going fair of sorts and blocking traffic in that region while others would have to GO AROUND the area instead. so it is an extra 1-2 hour inconvenience. so much less damaging and civil compared to OWS or the london riots or ferguson for that matter. the mix of people there are ranging from old, students, teachers, professors you cannot say they are really worthless or uneducated people. they are in fact much more educated than the anti-protesters. Heck parents are bringing their kids to the rally and having them do HOMEWORK THERE. not just partying and getting free stuff and having fun. as a result there is a clear difference. Can you say that the protesters would do the same here? If the protesters want to have game then they would need to attract very respected people in their community. and actually work and be civil not party and make a mess. people such as lawyers, doctors, professors, teachers, students. those that are known to be those that work and want a better future for everyone. if it is just a small band of people that do not do anything considered important by society then it would have much less credibility than not. This is how a protest should be run and as a result makes the HK police look even worse. Sorry HK police no matter what you do right now you are going to look extremely bad because the protesters are actually very well behaved.
