Ignorant Americans talk of other countries committing genocide, they ignore the cruelty this country did to the Native Americans. Certain tribes wipped out. Schools fail to teach facts. The USA thinks its pure. As all countries, bad things happened. Today the Native Americans are mistreated. I've worked with the Sioux. These are intelligent people. Family oriented, spiritual, respect nature, & have a sense of humor. They're wise. Native Americans were willing to share at 1st. But white people were greedy, & wanted it all. They didnt have to get Native to drunk. The white man drew up treatys promising the natives certain rights. Then the whites broke treaty after treaty.
