  1. A hunter pace is not a fox hunt. I've hunted for years. But we lay scented trails. Seldom is a fox spotted. When a fox is involved, it's a clever predator & usually goes to ground. They know how to throw off hounds. We love watching the hounds work. Riding a good horse cross country &, jumping.

And some hunts use a scent trail, no fox.
