  1. Ok what would you do? Biden stated he'd relinquish nothing. McCarty did accomplish something to curtail the Dems reckless spending. Dems would have loved a shut down. As Republicans works be blamed. More than once Biden said he would not work with Republicans. It's easy to judge, but in the same position, what could be done. At least McCarty got some concessions.
