I lived in a similar yet different life in Somalia as you know the equator passes Somalia which means 12pm the sun stands in the center of the sky so occasionally when you and if you take a nap before 12pm which you will sometimes as a nomad and you wake up around 12pm when the sun is at the center you will not know where the sun come from (the east) or which direction it will set therefore it will mess up your guiding system and you’ll end up navigating totally the wrong direction. You’ll literally go insane, it’s amazing how this people navigate this desolate landscape where there’s no markings, trees or landscape. This place is the Antarctica version of the wormer climates. They are the different face of the same coin.

Bimal Mishra for you it’s maybe but not for me. 1 tree, 1 rock, one cat in Somalia is more valuable to me than you love the landscape, the weather especially the rainy season. Somalia is less polluted more than the most of other places. People love each other and the same gender hold hands (nothing to do with sexual just pure love and friendship)

Duncan Griffiths and I thought he bought it because of the convenience of the easy transport taking advantage hence cheating the western guy

Peter Werle on the equator it’s easy to use the sun and the moon as a guiding tool but how can one use the starts, aren’t they too small and their position in the sky don’t change depending where you are located on the globe?
