I’m Somali she’s Somali too I think we are confused people especially she’s more confused we have black skin color but culturally we are not black almost 99.99 of us didn’t consider ourselves black 10 or 10 years ago we used to say brown. Black is a culture or maybe an African American ethnicity not a skin color. Why are we confused or choosing to be confused? We are Somali in Africa/Somalia we are not black we are Somali, our closest relatives are Oromos, afar, sidama, and we don’t claim to be them even though we are similar skin tone and body structures why would we claim to be black when we don’t claim our relatives?
