If this act goes unpunished clearly and openly China will not exist as a state. Taiwan will be independent and more Chinese mainland states will seek independence by copying Taiwan. The future of China depends on how they respond to this blatant US aggression and provocations. The question is will they respond stand up for themselves like the Russians did or will they capitulate? Only time will tell.
