@LegitCopy so your people were in South Africa before 1620? That's impressive. It's almost ancient history. My people hit Msachussets in 1620. I'm American. Musk came here from Africa. Cool. Dozens of replies trying to sort out one simple, pedantic fact.

@LegitCopy right? I know. 70 replies to my post. Many of them just cannot accept that there are white people who call Africa home. I know several white refugees from South Africa. It is sad that skin color is such a powerful political lever.

@Spicymuffin nobody thinks "a continent is a country". But it is totally ok to consider your ethnic origin based on a continent. Hence, European, American, Asian, AFRICAN ... Wow this is getting tedious. I'm glad I don't teach preschool.
