@benjamindees He did say he was an economist, right? Now I'm not sure. Maybe he meant Seventh Day Adventist. I have yet to have gleened one fact from this video...

Dictators have that affect. I.e.Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong (ad infinitum)

The value of the Ruble inside of Russia is obviously much greater than it is in Europe or in England. In the future, please consider telling the truth...

@FuzzyCoconut7 defunded, unemployed, accused of being a Russian asset / sympathizer, et al

Russia has not lost anywhere near the amount of troops that Ukraine has and the alliance that has been made with that Country with 1.5 B people who buys oil from them daily would love nothing more than for their to be a war between the US, NATO Countries , and Russia. Oh, and India has also been buying oil from Russia as well and when push comes to shove, I'll bet India gets a better rate from Russia than they do from Saudi Arabia. I don't think that they're having any monetary issues and could always pay China for any/ all of the tech that the US has sold to China or been stolen from the US by China ..

Norway and Canada are fantastic places with very cheap energy and very low inflation. They are looking for "economists" such as yourself Mark. You should definitely move to one of those countries as soon as possible...

Condoning breaking the law is certainly in line with the libs !! One question though. What happens when the admin is different or the politics is different. How do you know someone on the other side of the argument won't do the same to us at some point. If we don't have rules and laws and follow them, we're left with a society full of feelings, emotions and soft men !!
6
Russia has far, far, far less debt than does Italy. Essentially, if it wasn't for the proximity of Italy, and the fact that Italy is part of the EU, they WOULD BE BROKE beyond the level of Greece's indiscretions ..
6
Just curious, where do you get the number that 1 million Russians have left Russia ?? Could you quote any particular reference ?
5
I can't believe you spew this drivel ...
5
What would the US and the West do without Russia being there? We need them to be there otherwise there is no boogie man that we need to spend defense money on ...
5
How can you call yourself a monentary economist? You're not taking into consideration real facts when it comes to Russia. You are NOT taking similar data when you speak of the US. Look at our inflation rate here. Of course GDP #'s could stay the same or even go up here when in actuality, most of the production is based upon gov spending here. Russia is manufacturing weapons for defense, which in many cases they're not only using but selling as well. They also mine for raw materials like gold, silver, oil and rare earth metals as just a few examples. You are talking about ONE man in Florida who drinks Vodka and tonic ? This is why you're raising goats...
4
So, over the past twenty, thirty, forty and fifty years, the price of gold has increased in the US. Is that because of the difficulty of extracting gold or the lessening of the value of the USD ? Eventually, in the US, you will need wheelbarrows full of cash to buy an ounce / 28.3 g of gold

This is the most ridiculous video I have ever seen... I can't wait to find out in six months when MARK himself is using all of the Rubles he's stuck in his pockets because a guy who won't call a plumber to work in his house in Florida in the middle of the Summer is NOT throwing away a penny. In six months the Ruble and the Euro exchange will go back to what it was pre conflict.
4
Well, our Country/ gov has hundreds of trillions of dollars in debt. The Gov of Russia is NOT in debt. Fair analysis??
4
@xavierthepainter3658 It wasn't true then and it's NOT true now ...
4
Well, if you want people NOT to respect you, I have one question, where do I sign up ?
4
Do you cite ANY references for any of the documents you've created ??
4
@levthelion Besides the facts that Russia's economy has only grown since the US has sanctioned them. They are NOW the fifth largest economy. Not only that, they are still selling goods and probably services. They have PLENTY of gold, silver and uranium as well as oil .. This guy Mark is spewing emotion and data ( useless information from many years ago ) ...
4
I was just curious how you became so delusional ...
4
Wondering if Russia sells any defense technology and/or weapons to any other country ??
4
Russia has no issues with health care. Completely adequate medical technology... They have a very low murder rate in any of their cities... ( Kind of like Florida just with not nearly the same amount of freedoms. ). They don't have any issues with men competing on women's sports teams. They have no mis-gendering issues. ( In our Country the # of people who "identify" as a different gender is < 1% .. ) Their educational system is far superior to the US in more than 85% of our cities... They have low if not no homelessness and almost no child hunger issues. They have no issues with DEI hiring problems. I don't think but don't know for sure, if you have a proclivity to dressing differently do it in your home or the home of a friend, kind of like the way the Conservatives in Hollywood need to be in California -> Friends of Abe ) ... I am not schilling for Russia. But if Russia was all that bad, why does the US prevent all information/ news from getting into the US. kind of like the USSR did prior to the tearing down of the wall...
4
Not sure how you can make so many assertions regarding another country without referring to any charts, documents or references of any sort. ... I hope you are a better economist than a vlogger..
3
I hope you are better with potatoes than you are with your video production ..
3
I love your level of dishonesty. There was NO accident which affected the Nord I and Nord II.. The two pipelines were intentionally destroyed at the will of the US ...
3
fyi, porta potties are not connected to "the plumbing"...
3
A supposed monetary economist is commenting on the physiology and/ or biology of a man that he has never met.. This is ludacris ...
3
Due tell, since you are so learned and so informed, how bad is their infrastructure???
3
You don't know any information now, before , then or even after.
3
It is obvious that you are NOT offering first hand experience ...
3
I cannot tell you how much I love your opinions NOT backed up by any facts or any data proving your allegations.
3
Russia has become the fifth largest economy now just below Japan thanks to the US. There is NO way until next 2025/01/21 anything is going to change there ...
3
Grasping at straws here. Do some legitimate homework in the future before doing a video... this is shameful.
3
Can NOT tell you how much I love listening to your videos which have absolutely NO substantiation with facts or anything of the sort.
3
This video is all over the place. How do you go from women feeling that Putin becoming President was a very bad thing to explaining how women's hemlines predicting economic condiitons. I listented to your video and had not heard one statement of fact or substantiated allegation..
3
Your calcuation(s) are NOT taking into account what went on after the "geopolitical " event began ?? How are they running all of their retail stores, fast food and beverage companies, along with supermarkets. They have their own manufacturing, processing plants NOT TO MENTION their own petroleum refiners. But you didn't mention any of that did you?
3
Why has the Russian economy expanded ?
3
what do four liters of fuel for a car cost ... please compare apples to oranges... are you sure you don't work in propaganda , I mean advertising ?
3
None of Mark's "analysis" is based upon any real facts. This is backed up by his lack of substantiation of any of his assertions. He seems to equate analogies of elderly people in old RV's with raw materials and manufacturing in the US. He is very emotional and lacks any data with any real factual information or representation there of ...
3
Do you KNOW how much OIL is being sold by Russia to India and to China ???
3
China and Japan are significantly different machines for SO very many reasons. Firstly, Japan is legitamately our ally...
3
@volo7877 Thankfully, Zelenskyy is now worth > $500M
3
Your video begins with a story about a trip with you and your wife going to Crimea. However, you neglected to tell us when .... Kind of important if you're telling a story. I guess I should note, stories are not necessarily facts much less the "truth"....
3
You're using WW1 to give some sort of substantiation as to how Crimea could be liberated ? There are weapons that use sub atomic particles if you know what I mean now. We / they have unmanned drones. Your theorization is completely dysphoric.
3
Your assertions are more than just wrong. They're actually bad for the entire world...
3
and yet there was no substance to any of it at all. What we do know is that Russia bad, Ukraine good. Other than that, zippo....
3
I can certainly understand that, in the US, the building, plumbing, electrical inspectors will get you if you don't help to pay for their kids hockey, tennis and private tutors ...
2
Not ONCE do you mention the terrible circumstances surrounding the substance abuse in the US and Western Europe.
2
@EconLessons basic human goods ? That's it ? They have two trading partners, India and China that can supply them with plenty of finished goods .
2
We are taking more than our share of huddled masses here in this Country, however, it is definitely NOT helping OUR GDP here.
