The faith and value of the US dollar is diminishing.. What the US did to Russia has put a bad taste in the mouths of other countries including Saudi Arabia and India ...
2
You got rich as a stock broker and your video where you said you were too cheap to hire a plumber to fix the plumbing in your home...?? Sorry, I think your a bit of an exaggerator ..
2
When do you mention the debt that each and every American, and UK citizen is born with because of the lack of fiscal management of these bloated economies ...
2
You're right, oil and gas does not create anything. OTHER countries like Germany, India, China and the US who have created the demand for gas and oil, however. All powerful cointries rely on plentiful and cheap energy. Sorry, I don't have any pig analogies nor metaphors. Only that Russia has something that many, many other countries want... You're theory is seriously flawed...
2
Do you ever put any effort into your videos like a chart, a reference of any sort ???
2
subjective anecdotes is hard hitting proof ..
2
I don't think this guy is an expert on potatoes.
2
I don't think anyone believes your UNSUBSTANTIATED and BIASED data ..
2
England, Japan, Italy, Greece and US have a TERRIBLE debt/GDP ratio... We have an ever increasing debt/GDP ratio. We are increasing debt by $1T every 100 days. This IS ONLY National debt. This doesn't include ALL the unfunded liabilities. You are acting wreck less and irresponsible by spouting propaganda not only promoting debt but terribly high debt... By the way, I have NEVER EVER seen an economist NEVER come with any charts or at least stipulate or quote facts with references... I think you are very emotional and seem to only spew irrational feelings based allegations..
2
I cannot believe someone spewing propaganda actually says, "trust me".
2
By the way, what does it say about the US economy if airlines are selling flights to Europe for < $200
2
Thanks to the current vegetable in office, the geriatric treasury secretary and the overly irresponsible fed chair, Russia has now been upgraded to high income country by the world bank. Its economy grew at 3.6 % last year amid sanctions and higher energy prices ( sorry, i forgot to mention earlier the mentally challenged energy secretary here in the US )
2
Russia's economy is currently expanding and Poland's economy is currently contracting ..
2
Wonderful when you refer to Ukrainian fables. At some point after the new POTUS brokers a deal between Russia and Ukraine perhaps we can discuss the Fable of the possiblility of Ukraine winning a war against Russia ... This is ABSURD !!
2
@andyglastonbury6032 Do you know how many people in the US do not have a place to live... I think many of these people would gladly take a place to live, with a bed and a roof w/o indoor plumbing ...
2
It's his version of the truth.. There are many versions of the truth unfortunately...
2
Even when you say, " Here is more evidence". Nothing that you stated afterwards made any sense whatsoever..
2
What do Russia do with the gold and silver AND rare earth metals that they mine ??
2
@EconLessons and back their currency with real money.
2
This is why authoritarianism always leads to the downfall of a nation. The unfortunate part is that every empire collapses on itself. Just ask Ray Dalio, he's explained it thoroughly in detail.
2
We are creating an entire society of indentured servants.
2
@Kansika As if AI is going to come up with the answer for powering up hundreds if not thousands of data centers around the world with solar, which by the way is more territorially destructive than fossil fuels and only @ 20% efficient, if that.. By the way, nicely said!
2
@AnthonyJMendoza-f7i you may be right, but i find that the solar efficiency is no where near that of nuclear which is more cost efficient per kwh. solar causes much more destruction than does nuclear...
2
This knowledge based economy is going to be driven fundamentally by resources...
2
@rc666 that would be true if there economy wasn't expanding. Unfortunately thanks Sleepy Joe and Co., it is expanding
2
OMG, sounds like the fascista . ...
2
How are you equating illnesses and viruses to GDP ???
2
It's becoming the same even here in the US. We are still incurring inflation. We have yet to experience disinflation especially in the core goods and services category..
2
I am just curious if you're paying attention to the current price of oil here in the US. ???
2
I would have more faith if he said, they will win because God wants them to...
2
@sergeil9750 and actually not allowed to complain either..
1
Russian is still selling arms and oil all around the world..
1
@Pikkabuu They are selling tech/ weapons to India, China, and Iran to name a few..
1
@Pikkabuu The US has our own drug companies. Why do we buy EVERYTHING from China ..???
1
by the way, Reuters came out with a story in January of 2023 showing trade between Russian and China hitting record levels. I beleive their source was the GACC, in case you wanted some sort of receipt...
1
@gnice8765 fair point...
1
@gnice8765 yes vodka led them out of agricultural exports.🙃
1
@EconLessons Perhaps maybe you sampled too much of it as well ???
1
However, do listen to all of his videos. Whenever he speaks of Russia, Mark never gives any substantiated dated with any facts or proven details. Actually, quite the opposite. His videos are primarily opinions scattered with condescending explanations offering his beliefs without so much as a data point.
1
Not sure what is smoke and mirrors.. The US is limiting/ preventing MOST if not ALL information from Russia to the US. If that doesn't make you curious as to why then something is wrong...
1
Except for the fact that Russia is still trading goods / commodities for money with India and China. Who also knows what else is being sold or traded to other countries that they may not have prior to the "sanctions ".
1
This is true, however they are both using themselves to better themselves against the West ...
1
@ZxZ239 I doubt that the US really likes any of its allies. I doubt England, France and Germany, especially, , are NOT liking the posts from the US on FB lately. Now there's going to be a push to seize China assets that are located in the West. How do you think that'll fair with China? Will China not take it out on other countries. Not understanding that moat places in Texas can't stand California and viceversa. Not everyone gets along. Not every country gets along with other countries, cities, etc!!!
1
@crissdizick9403 I am certain that the number of people who have left Russia is indeed very high. I am sure they have their share of Bill Clinton's over their too. But the possibility of 2M people leaving ?
1
Your comparison of cities is absurd...
1
So, how do blankets and propaganda equate to each other ?
1
This is very true currently.. There will be a time, considering the predicament that other countries are in because of overwhelming debt, that the value of the Ruble will increase, sorry to say.
1
By the way, who NOW has the fifth largest economy ???
1
Communism certainly does not lend itself to cohesiveness. Political repression amongst other things certainly doesnt spur development amongst the population as a whole.
1
if NOT only for the fact that you specifically stated , " you probably have a VAT"... Which means YOU HAVE NO IDEA !! All of your allegations are unsubstantiated with any facts...
