  4. Many of my clients are European bankers and they all told me how European banks would / used to take Rubles and convert it to to Euros and even USD for Russians. Not sure now, but this was what most Russians did to save money because they used to be worried about the value of the Ruble. Now, Russian has grown to the firth largest economy since the West has imposed the sanctions against Russia.

  6.  @williammasselink  as long as this "conflict" in Eastern Europe remains in progress / continues. Energy will likely remain around the 80's until well into the second or third quarter of next year. This will keep oil output high and pricey. All positive for Russia. They're selling in currencies other than the USD.

  12.  @williammasselink  considering we , the US, almost had apiplexi when a another Country's submarine was near Cuba. Putting Ukraine into NATO would be a direct threat to Russia. Is that what you want to do now? Threaten Russia so we go to an all out war with Russia and push them into the arms of China?
