Their behaviour is so human and yet they are still cruelly treated in the wild by humans. Humans consistently underestimate the intelligence of other species and as a result show them too little compassion and empathy.

The difference between past presidents and this one is that when they mock him they really mean it.

This is beginning to look like Romania before the fall of Nicolae Ceausescu. Alexander Lukashenko should be concerned he will suffer Ceausescu's fate.
65
Merkel's Legacy, a militarized federal Europe. Laying the foundations for WWIII.
65
"Look NATO tanks at the front door" a distraction to hide the Russian tanks sneaking in through the back door.
64
The EU should be worried about how many of these migrants are really Isis fighters looking for a new base of operations.
56
The Japanese people should hang their head's in shame. There is nothing that can defend this cruel and wicked practice.
56
One of the reasons for voting brexit is to escape this rubbish.
54
Shaken, but not stirred?

The government has done too little too late to stop the protesting broadening to encompass more government policies that the french population resent. The French government is implementing the policies of the EU. Like all governments it is using a stick rather than a carrot to change social behaviour. In other circumstances a reduction of the use of carbon fuels would be seen as a good and vital policy, however the French government is not only trying to change the behaviour of the population, but also raise money through a punitive increase in taxation. Now resentment built up in other areas are coming to the surface. The government will now reap what it is sown.
50
And so it begins.
43
Another example of Turkey empire building. It looks like Saudi Arabia and Turkey are in a soft power struggle.
42
The eu will protest, but is powerless to do anything so it will do nothing. If the EU wants to curb Chinese power, it must cut Chinese imports to a minimum and make its self less dependent on Chinese imports and services.
42
I suspects he thinks corruption should be centralised, and left to the experts in the EU.
40
This is not really an apology, it is a damage limitation exercise. The EU is very concerned that Italy will be the next to vote to leave.
39
Their most urgent challenge is how the super rich can continue to get ever richer.
38
The G7 summit of sheep and then there is the other one where the wolves meet.
37
Mr Verhofstadt is correct and if the UK is forced back into the EU, he can expect the UK people to vote for many more MEPs like Mr Farage, all with the same ambition.
34
Boris has given away the UK's best bargaining card by agreeing to the withdrawal agreement. The UK should have left with no deal.
34
Looks like the covid19 virus is going to solve this problem.
32
I think the migrants will regret coming to the UK, it is going to become very inhospitable over the next few years.
32
Shout, but not if it's about sexual abuse in the Catholic church.
30
This is intolerable, how are we in the UK expected to tell the difference between this and the brexit chaos that Macron has promised us? :-).
30
She gets a A for stating the obvious.
27
When will Mrs May hand in her resignation? One can speculate that she is hanging on in a last ditch attempt to implement her EU masters plan. Maybe she is so deluded as to believe that getting the treasonous Brexit agreement approved by parliament is a fitting legacy. She will not be alone in UK PMs who have sold out their country in support of the European project. Edward Heath and John Major must take a lot of the blame for getting us into the grip of the EU parasite.
26
In the 21st century, religion should not involve barbaric practices. Religious sensitivity cannot be used as a defence to protect such practices. Certainly there should be no place for ritual slaughter or barbaric mutilation. Circumcision is the male equivalent of FGM, the fact it is less damaging is because the male is involved.
26
There is no conflict between populism and democracy. The most popular view is by definition that of the majority.
25
Nuclear power does not generate any green house gasses. Until other green energy systems are fully developed it is foolish to destroy these nuclear reactor facilities. Nuclear power provides an excellent way to generate a clean base load capacity, something other green technologies struggle to do.
25
The EU said the Italians made a mistake in their choice in the election, they have been sent back to do it again and will not be allowed to have a government until they vote for someone who will do as they are told be the EU. This is democracy as defined by the EU. You can elect anyone you like, provided they support the EU.
25
@davidnoelfranks1124 wrong, the ship the UK seized was attempting to break sanctions on Syria.
24
What else could poor bullied Switzerland do. It is surrounded by EU member states, it really has no choice but to become a vassal state of the EU. The EU uses free movement as part of its empire building.
24
The French people elected a president of france, what they got was a want to be EU emperor.
24
Most are economic migrants who have broken the law to enter illigally..
24
Macron must be hoping for snow. The advantage weather will drive the protestors off the streets. Macron is an EU plutocrat. The French people are just work units to be exploited by the EU elite. Like all governments, they prefer to rule using the stick rather than a carrot. It has always been so, was that not cause the French Revolution. In this case the people do not need fuel, let them walk, it will create more road space for the cars belonging to the elite class.
24
Her family must take responsibility for the ease with which she was radicalised. Did their own religious beliefs do half the work of brain washing their children before they left the UK? The liberal UK justice system is too weak to deal with returning potential terrorists. The UK government will throw huge amounts of resources at these people, completely disproportionate to their value to UK society, most would assume to be negative. It is galling that those who rejected western values so comprehensively now want to make use of the benefits it offers, double so, since the women in question has not expressed any remorse for her actions or any sympathy for the victims of IS. Her arrogant demands based on entitlement are sufficient to breed resentment in even the most saintly liberal thinkers. The Syrian attitude is that the west should take back its rubbish and deal with it, unfortunately the west, and the UK in particular, does not have the systems in place to do this. This woman is as dangerous as any unexploded IED and in a few years time the same will be true of her child, if it remains with her. She should stay where she is. It is interesting that she is not being offered sanctuary in other Islamic state.
24
Given the ultimate fate of these poor animals, I am glad that some very stupid people have been made to suffer. If the bulls manage to remove a few cruel people from the gene pool, good for them.
24
This is typical of the EU, kicking the can down the road. The reported language is vague and voluntary. Which state is going to put up there hands and say we will take migrants, it is electoral suicide. This agreement is purely to save Merkel's job. It will take a few days for those involved to realise that the agreement says nothing.
23
So the EU wants democrats consigned to hell. Is this surprising. If he wants to know what hell looks like, just wait a few years and it will be remarkably similar to life in the EU.
23
While the EU takes in the migrants the people smugglers will continue to ship them into Europe. The EU must repatriation all those who come to Europe illegally. They must also do all they can to inform potential migrants that forced repatriation is now EU policy.
23
Does the eu really want to be bound to a country where 17.5 million citizens hate the EU and all it stands for. This will never end until the UK is free of the EU.
21
The news report fails to say why the Greek soldiers were detained. If they are not guilty of any crime, then turkey is acting unreasonable as usual.
21
The UK must deport all those who try to enter illigally. Make it an offence that permanently prohibits application for UK citizenship.
21
A banker and EU stooge, who was not elected but imposed by the Italian president. This is democracy EU style. The Italians must now know they are trapped and controlled by the EU.
20
No he does not understand, one of the functions of brexit is to reorganise the UK economy to regain control of our mean of production, our utilities, our infrastructure and our critical industries including agriculture and fisheries. The intention is to make the country more self sufficient and less dependent on EU imports. A no deal brexit will put up the tariff barriers between the EU and the UK to force this to happen. He may promise to protect French access to UK coastal water, but it is not a promise he can keep.
20
So the proposal is for a rigged referendum with a vote between May's bad deal or remaining in the EU. No, it must include leaving on WTO terms.
20
Why should judges have a higher retirement age than other members of the population? At seventy, the mental capacity has started to decline. It is therefore reasonable for the judges to be retired before they become senile.
20
Only those whose faith is weak, cannot stand mockery of their religion.
20
These deluded people have no understanding that going back to the pre brexit status quo is not an option. They also fsiled to consider what remaining the EU would mean for the UK in the longer term. Neither is an attractive option. The half in half out option they are likely to trigger is the worst possible.
19
Did Hamas ask the permission of those living in Gaza before launching this attack. It is the people of Gaza who will suffer from the Israel reprisals.
19
Tell them how to vote, but don't tell them that the EU parliament is about as relevant and democratic as that of the Chinese parliament.
