  1. The eu will need to asses the impact of climate change on the environment. It is going to have a serious impact on farming and tourism. Traditional crops may no longer grow in the huge areas affected. There are going to be plant and animal extinctions. Migration from more equatorial regions is gong to significantly increase. We are at the very beginning of a global catastrophe, a mass extinction event. I suspect what will concentrate the minds of the political classes is the growing economic impact, which will quickly turn into a crisis.
