@hquin9gomes you are a fool trying to hold back time, You really don't understand what you are up against. Each year from now on will have more extreme weather than the previous year. The change will be exponential. Those close to the equator will be affected first and to the greatest extent. The 31st of February is when the oil and gas producers sucessfully manage to sell their products to the dead.

@njsays2044 you are underestimating the speed of climate change. As negative feedback becomes positive, the speed of change increases. Oil and gas will be effectively gone within a decade, either by choice, or by force. There are alternatives to oil for app,locations such as lubricants. Even plastics can be made without oil, particularly the biodegradable versions. The oil producers know their time is over, it is why they are rushing to diversify. The markets certainly know as investment is set to peak in 2025, and then decline rapidly. The fossil fuel producers are profiteering now, because they know they won't be able too in five years time. I will live to see the decline in fossil fuels. The clue will be the closure of fossil refuel stations, or their conversion to electric charging stations.

@njsays2044 it is you who are deluded, the process is already happening. I suggest you check invested confidence in oil and gas production. The fossil fuel industry is really only 150 years old, it's demise will follow the money. The production of fossil fuel cars will stop in the developed countries in 2030, and the rest of the world a decade later.

@njsays2044 that might be what you would like to think, but the technology is already well developed. The profiteering by the fossil producers will accelerate development, as necessity is the mother of invention. It is pointless arguing about the outcome, as only one of us will be right. I am happy for you to invest all your money in oil futures.

@njsays2044 some US states and the UK are committed to stop the sale of fossil fuel cars by 2030. The eu will stop making fossil fuel cars by 2035. Many cities will not allow access to fossil fuel vehicles. There are similar mi ves to ban the fitting of gas central heating on a similar time scale. So there is ample proof that the age of fossil fuels is over.
