@thekinglionofjudah you mean the 97% of climate experts who agree that global warming is real and is likely to result in an extinction event unless urgent action is not taken. There is the three percent in the pay of the fossil fuel industry that disagree, but then they are paid to do so.

The predictions ofglobal warming is for ever more extreme weather events as the climate goes into oscillation between weather extremes. Unless the negative feedback margins are re-established, this will continue untill the global climate switches to a new stable state, hopefully not at the extreme end of one of the limit cycles.

@jaimegp1016 in terms of climate change 1982 is not that long ago. I would be more impressed with pre 1900 figures.

@jaimegp1016 your assertion that global warming is just a TV invention fails to take account of the science which at this point is overwhelming in favour of global warming. The world has always experienced weather, it is the increasing severity and frequency of extreme weather events that is so concerning along with the rapid loss of polar and Greenland ice. The rapidity of climate change points to an unnatural cause.

@jaimegp1016 its interesting that you are so confident in your own beliefs that you are willing to dismiss the views of 97% of the eminent scientists working in the field of climate change. Are you willing to bet your life on them being wrong and you being right? How about the lives of your family members and what about the fate of the human race? I assume that you are extremely well qualified in the subject and have published research papers in the subject and you are not receiving funds from the fossil fuel industry.

@jaimegp1016 if your house was on fire and someone yelled "fire!" Would claim the only reason for doing so was because they are in the pay of the fire service. I suggest that those who are denying global warming are in the pay of the fossil fuel companies. Continuing my metaphor, those who stifle the fire warning are probably the arsonists who started the fire.
