The EU member states are carrying out EU austerity policies. The EU itself is part of the globalist agenda. The people are beginning to wake up to what is happening. Inside the EU, national identity is to be suppressed in favour of loyalty to the emerging super state. Workers are now work units who serve to make a very small super rich elite, richer. These protesters will be treated harshly by the authorities, but only after the EU elections.

@JoaoSoares-rs6ec it is the state that is Fascist. It is the state following EU policy,that is telling the people what they must do. The super rich elite what the workers to be quiet accept austerity and allow the rich to get that much richer.

@afroplasm5956 globalists taking on the cloak of respectability of the moderate law abiding. The French government , like so many others around the world, has been enslaved into the cause of increasing the wealth of the super rich. Everyone is equal just some are more equal than others.
