  2. The only thing they have done is not to agree how to borrow money. Worse still they have absolutely no idea how the debt will be paid off. There is talk of paying off the debt by GDP growth, this at a time when the world economy is going into depression, not recession. A time when growth must be limited to protect the planet from global warming. A time when it has finally been recognised that the earth's resources are finite and are already being used at an unsustainable rate. No the EU does not have a solution. It only has an ideological agenda to use the crisis to advance a misguided plan to build a federal empire.
