It is interesting watching the EU seeking involvement in conflects around the world. The war mongers are rubbing their hands with glee. For the more the EU becomes involved the more weapons it can be sold. Any prosperity it has had in the past is the direct result of not being able to involve itself in wars around the world. Should it do so for reasons of prestige, it will soon find that it becomes mired in these conflicts, and forced to take sides. Where the middle East is concerned, the enemy of your enemy is still your enemy. One would have thought the EU would already have had sufficient of middle Eastern terrorism played out on European streets, without going out of its way to make it a target for more.
